Dear Ms. Wessell:
This letter is a follow up to your letter of March 21, 2022 wherein you detailed your
request to remove a tree located on your property, which tree is shown in photographs
which you provided. The Board of Trustees reviewed this request for the designated
tree that is within 100' of the wetlands, as reviewed and seen by Trustee Nicholas
Krupski.
The Board of Trustees determined that the removal of this tree may be done with the
stipulation that a replacement native species tree is planted on the property replacing
the one removed. No permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Diane,
I give the Trustees permission to go onto the property at 1650 West Creek Ave, Cutchogue, NY 11935 to inspect the tree
depicted in this email in front of the cottage to the north east marked with yellow tape. Sadly its roots are also too close
to the foundation.
Please let me know if you need any other information and a date the Trustee will visit.
