The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However, this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received. Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson_ Elizabeth Sakarellos, Office Assistant Nicholas Planamento, Vice Chair Kim E. Fuentes, Board Assistant Eric Dantes, Member Damon Hagan, Asst. Town Attorney Patricia Acampora, Member Robert Lehnert, Member 4:07 P.M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). :kFx EXECUTIVE SESSION: 4:07 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. (This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). 4:58 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to exit Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento Acampora and Lehnert. The Board Members discussed Amendments to Determinations C. The Board Members Discussed Upcoming Training with the Board of Trustees and the Land Preservation Department. DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS: Agenda items and commenced deliberations on the following applications. The original determinations of each of the following applications as decided are filed with the Southold Town Clerk: GRANT RELIEF AS APPLIED Luan Sadik, Halik Sadik Legacy Trust#7665 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Planamento, Dantes, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0) GRANTED RELIEF AS APPLIED WITH CONDITIONS: Cliff and Wyndy Sloan#7656 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Lehnert, Dantes, and Acampora. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0) (Member Planamento Recused) Joe and Amanda Bertollini #7660 Matthew Ketcham#7666 Douglas Bradford#7691 Doric and Ariadne Capsis#7672 Joseph and Deborah Polidora#7697 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Planamento, Dantes, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0) RELIEF DENIED Joel B. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0) RESOLUTIONS: RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to authorize advertising of hearings for the Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, which will commence at 9:00 AM for Executive Session, and 10:00 AM for Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held August 4, 2022. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0) RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to AMEND the approval of Appeal No. 7600 for Shannon Holdings II, LLC, located at 34685 Route 25, Orient,NY. SCTM No. 1000-19-2-6.1 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora, and Lehnert. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to Adopt the following resolution relating to SARA review of the Cutchogue Fire District: RESOLVED, that the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Southold,pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act(SEQRA), hereby declare itself Lead Agency in regards to the application of the Cutchogue Fire Department; Located: 260 New Suffolk Road, Cutchogue, NY, more particularly known as SCTM#1000-102.-6-5; RESOLVED,that the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Southold hereby finds that the application of the Cutchogue Fire Department located at 260 New Suffolk Road, Cutchogue, NY; more particularly known as SCTM#1000-102.-6-5, is classified as an Unlisted Action pursuant to SEQRA Rules and Regulations; and be it further Minutes of the Zoning Board of Appeals August 18, 2022, Page 4 RESOLVED, that the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Southold hereby authorizes the preparation of a Notice of Negative Declaration pursuant to SEQRA for the aforementioned proj ect.
