Gerard: Re: Application to Construct a Private Sewage Disposal System, 280' s/o G~ Lane, e/s Albo Drive, Laurel, Town of Southold At the hearing held on June 15, 1976, in the office of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, H. Lee Dennison Executive Office Building, Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, New York, you had an opportunity to present your appeal of the department's ruling on the subject application. I'n accordance with tl~e provisions of subdivision (c), Section 7, Article I of the Suffolk County Sanitary Code, the determination of the Board of Review is as follows: Based on the information submitted, {hat this application be approved ~rovided that a minimum distance of ~5 feet ~ith one cesspool or a,minimum distance of 65 feet from Horton Creek be maintained if it is found necessary to construct a two-pool: system. It is also required that the proposed well be 70 feet in depth if this does not pose a problem of salt water intrusion in which cas~ the well may be withdrawn to the depth necessary to obtain a potable water supply. Since the determination of the Board of Review submitted to the Commissioner's office on June 23, 1976, has not been ~eversed or modified by her, it is therefore deemed to be the determination of the Commissioner.
