1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and Unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of Water supply and sewerage-disposal(s_? form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code C~pliance from archiuect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submi~ Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.

Dear Mr. Ziernicki:
In making a progress inspection of fence to be constructed under
this permit, we note that you have erected a metal accessory
building in the front yard area. The application you submitted
indicated you would construct a well pump housing which ordinarily
is a small, low-Co-ground structure for which a building permit or
variance in front yard area is not required.
The $15.00 fee you paid is to construct a fence in accordance with
the application you made. This permit does not cover the construction
of a metal utility building; therefore, two Zoning violations are
charged against these premises. Notice is enclosed herewith.
In addition, a building permit was issued on August 31, 1961, ~1537
to the Riverhead Construction Co. to construct a beach house for
the previous owners of your property, Anne and Jagues Witzel. A
Certificate of Occupancy has never been issued for that building.
Health Department approval for cesspool installation would be re-
quired before a C.O. can be issued.
I would suggest that you contact Mr. Howard Terry of this department
regarding the beach house as he is familiar with the particulars of
this matter.
A building permit cannot be issued for the utility shed unless a
variance is granted by the Board of Appeals for front yard loca%iono

Dear Mr. Ziernicki:
The location of utility building constructed under Building
Permit ~8555Z in the front yard area has been given an in-
formal approval from the Board of Appeals.
At the time this permit was issued, the application indicated
that a fence and pump house would be constructed and fee of
$15.00 was paid for the fence. A pump house is ordinarily a
small structure built low to the groUnd or in some cases a
pit in ground for which we do not require a permit to be issued.
What you constructed is in the form of a utility building. We
have amended your permit accordingly and an additional fee of
$10.00 is due. Also, since building is completed it will be
necessary for you to make application for a Certificate of Oc-
cupancy (compliance). Forms are enclosed herewith.
Regarding Building Permit ~1537Z, this permit was issued to
Riverhead Construction Company to construct a new dwelling on
beach for Anne and Jagues Witzel who were the present owners
of your property at that time. A Certificate of Occupancy was
never issued for this building and the building permit has long
expired. According to Mr. Howard Terry, there was a problem
with cesspools and Health Department approyal was never received.
As a result, this building is in violation of the Town of Southold's
Zoning Ordinance and, as owner of record, yon are responsible for
correcting this violation. The first step in this direction would
be to acquire the Health Department approval.-When you have re-
ceived their approval, contact our office for a final inspection
of building.
