Avenue in Greenport. Since I would like to do the plumbing, wiring and
other necessary work in the house, myself, I would like to know if the
use of rigid plastic pipe, such as PVC for drains and vents will conform
to the building and plumbing code

very f~esy abo~t plumbing & heating being draluable if and when
the house is closed or the systems shut offo
~roperly installed plastic pipeing is po~itted for
one family homes' you must call for inspection before covering
any of the plumbing or heating pipes.
The Electrical inspections are done by the New York
Fire Underwriters inspector who is in this office each Monday
A.M. from 10 to 10830 and can be contacted here.
We do not have copies of the code on hand.
Should you have any questions, one of the InspeCtors
can stop by when you are at the premises.

To get your certificate, you will need to file the enclosed
application with the fee, Health Department final approval, and
a copy of the electrical underwriters. You may call us any-
time to make our inspection.

is 90' X 100', and we hsve an up-dated SURVEY of said property from
Mr. Van Tuyl. (there are also concrete markers, on the property)
In correspondence from you, about a year ago, which I have been
unable to lay my hands on, you suggested the possibility, that it
"MIGHT BE NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A VARIANCE" on existing laws regard-
ing buildings & property lines?
