According to the Code of the Town of Southold Article XXVIII 100-281 and 100-284 a building permit is ~eded for construction of an addition to an existing dwelling. It is unlawful to occupy a dwelling until a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued. Your final inspection has been made. ~ Please fill out the enclosed application for Certificate of Occupancy and return to this office with a check for $25°00. This is your second notification.
