THURSDAY, JULY 219 2022
A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held
at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs
Avenue, Southold on Thursday, July 21, 2022 commencing at 4:00 P.M.
The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However,
this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received.
Present were:
Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Elizabeth Salcarellos, Office Assistant
Nicholas Planamento, Vice Chair Kim E. Fuentes, Board Assistant
Eric Dantes, Member Damon Hagan, Asst. Town Attorney
Patricia Acampora, Member
Robert Lehnert, Member
4:10 P.M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora
and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).

EXECUTIVE SESSION:
4:10 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to
enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes.
Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. (This
Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
5:09 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to exit
Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes,
Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. (This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).

WORK SESSION: Began at 5:09 PM
A. Requests from the Board Members for future agenda items.
B. The Board discussed DeMinimus Approval and Extension Requests.
C. August 4, 2022 Regular Meeting to be attended by Corey Humphrey of Suffolk Cunty
Soil and Water Conservation District to discuss impacts on Bluffs.
D. Two Interior Inspections of proposed Accessory Apartments scheduled for July 26, 2022.
DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS:
Agenda items and commenced deliberations on the following applications. The original
determinations of each of the following applications as decided are filed with the Southold Town

RESOLUTIONS:
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Acampora to authorize advertising of hearings for the Regular Meeting to be held on
Thursday, August 4, 2022, which will commence at 9:00 AM for Executive Session, and 10:00
AM for Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes,
Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly dopted (5-0)
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Dantes to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held July 7, 2022. Vote of the
Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert.
This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0)
There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, the
Chairperson declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 5:46 P.M.
