We the residents of Stillwater Ave. in Cutchogue NY wish the speed limit sign ( at the
recharge basin ) at the beginning of Stillwater Ave. to be changed from 35MPH to
25MPH.
Years ago the old sign 30 MPH, on Stillwater Ave., was knocked down and replaced
with the current one 35 MPH. How can it be that Pequash Ave. with far superior vision
has a sign with a limit of 30 MPH? Stillwater Ave. has limited sight distance with ups
and downs and many many bends along its mile length.
It is my understanding that Stillwater Ave. is going to be repaved sometime this year
and when it gets to be smooth again the cars will be doing 50 MPH> �✓�
The current sign it being obscured by the trees along the road.
