THURSDAY, JUNE 169 2022
A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held
at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs
Avenue, Southold on Thursday, June 16, 2022 commencing at 4:00 P.M.
The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However,
this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received.
Present were:
Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Elizabeth Sakarellos, Office Assistant
Nicholas Planamento, Vice Chair Kim E. Fuentes, Board Assistant
Eric Dantes, Member Donna Westermann, Office Assistant
Patricia Acampora, Member John Burke, Deputy Town Attorney
Robert Lehnert, Member
4:00 P.M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Planamento, Acampora
and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0).
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
4:04 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to enter
into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members
Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Planamento Acampora and Lehnert (This Resolution was
duly adopted (5-0).

4:20 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to exit
Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes,
Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. (This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).
WORK SESSION: Began at 4:21 PM
A. Requests from the Board Members for future agenda items.
-B. The Board discussed DeMinimus Approval and Extension Requests.
C. Town Board Annual Meeting on Fishers Island on August 3, 2022; Member Planamento
will attend to represent the Board.
D. Two Interior Inspections of proposed Accessory Apartments scheduled for June 20, 2022.
POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARING
4:21 P.M. KATHERINE HUBBARD #7607SE— (Adjourned from June 2, 2022) Applicant
requests a Special Exception under Article III, Section 280-13B(13). The Applicant is owner of
subject property requesting authorization to establish an Accessory Apartment in an existing
accessory structure; at: 2465 Elijahs Lane, Mattituck, NY. SCTM#1000-108-4-7.14.
RESOLUTION: A motion was offered by Chairperson. Weisman, seconded by Member
Acampora to CLOSE HEARING and RESERVE DECISION. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This
Resolution was'duly adopted (5-0).

Thursday, July 7, 2022, which will commence at 9:00 AM for Executive Session, and 10:00 AM
for Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes
Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0)
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Planamento to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held June 2, 2022. Vote of
the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento Acampora and

Member Dantes to GRANT a One Year Extension to William and Ann Froehlich, located at
6130 Peconic Bay Blvd., Laurel. SCTM No. 1000-128-2-6. Vote of the Board: Ayes:
Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution
was duly adopted (5-0)
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Dantes to APPROVE the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy by the Southold Town
Building Inspector to Charles and Lisa Howard, ZBA Appeal No. 7083, located at 455 North
View Drive, Orient,NY. SCTM No. 1000-13-1-9.2. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members
Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly
adopted (5-0)
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Lehnert to GRANT a 90 Day Extension of a Condition of Approval to Keith Kane,
Appeal No. 7676, located at 335 Village Lane, Orient,NY SCTM No. 1000-25-2-4.13. Vote of
the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and
Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0)
There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, the Chairperson
declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 4:55 P.M.
