a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted in duplicate to the Building
J nspector.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, end giving a detailed description of layout of propertymust be drawn on the diagram which is part of this application.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit. ~.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part 'For any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector. '

Dear Mr. Schnelderz
On Apr11 15, 1965, the Board of Appe&ls granted the General
Wayne Inn permission for the erection of two signs, setting up
certain conditions. The sign no~ located on the property of Antone
Surozenski, located south side Main Road, Southo~d, was to be a
two foot by three foot sign. However,a four foot by six foot sign
was erected at this site and to date is still there.
The second sign in question is located at the intersection of
Bayview Road and Route 25, Southold. Fo= the erection of this sign
the pez~aiasion of Southold Bayview Corporation, owner of the property,
was to be obtained. However, no such letter of permission has ~ver
reached our office, and this sign has been erected.
The Building Inspector also informs us that the fee for both of
these signs has nev~r~elfl paid. ~nerefore, both signs have been
illegally erected.
It will be necessary for these signs to comply with the Zoning
Ordinance and sign requirements Immediately, or their removal will
be ordered.
