Haje, President Eh-Consultants, Inc. 1329 North Sea Road Southampton, New York 11968 Re: Elizabeth Yaro - Application No. 478 Dear Mr. Haje: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during the regular Trustee meeting held on September 24, 1987 regarding the above matter. WHEREAS, Eh-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of Elizabeth Yaro applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions o£ the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated December 3, 1987, and WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on June 25, 1987 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that En-Consultants, Inc. on behalf of Elizabeth Yaro BE AND HEREBY ARE GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD TO: Construct a one-family house, sanitary system, driveway and well, etc. as shown on the attached site plan and to fill with 450 cu. yds. of fill to raise the grade to required flood plain elevation. Approval is granted with the provision that roof run off is contained in dry wells and that a 50' buffer zone is maintained with plantings of bayberry, rosa rugosa and or the use of grasses that do not require fertilizer such as red rescue up to 10' from the fringe. Dredging will destroy the shellfish producing bed and do irreversible damage to the bottom. As an alternative measure the CAC suggests applicant either apply for a mooring elsewhere in the creek or seek docking at Boatman's Harbor. No. 477- Larry and Sandy Stahl - Approve with stipulations. Use haybales to avoid runoff; put in more plantings as used elsewhere on property; have the Bay Constable do frequent inspections., during construction.
