The work would involve the in-kind and in-place replacement (within 18") of 90 linear feet of existing timber bulkhead at the northern end of the property. Also, timber · pilings and fixed piers which are no longer serviceable would be replaced~ in-kind and in-place with new timber pilings and floating piers respectively. In addition, a new steel bulkhead, 110 feet in length would be constructed approximately 2.5-3 feet in front of the existing bulkhead and backfilled with dredged material. Approximately 200 cubic yards of material would be dredged as needed from the basin to be used as backfill for the proposed steel and timber bulkheads.
