Box 2065 Greenport~ NY 11944 Re: Ronald Wink!er SCTbl ~1000-78-2-11 Dear Mr. Price: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on July 30~ 1992 regarding the above matter~ WIqEREAS~ William Price on behalf of Ronald Wink!er applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a pezYnit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated June 1992 and~ WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southo!d Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recon~endations, and, %~HEREAS~ a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on September 17~ 1992 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard~ and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are f~ail, iar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and~ WHEREAS~ the Board has considered ail the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this applicationr and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health~ safety and general welfare of the people of the town~ NOW~ ~HEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees approves the application of William Price on behalf of Rona!d Winkler to construct a single family dwelling 78' X 76~ from tidal wetlands with sanitary ~-. ~ minimum of I00' from said wetlands with a 50' vegetative buffer as per plan submitted. This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid~ ~~ie_~ and permit issue~ within six months of the date of this notification~ 9~o inspections are re~aired and the Trustees are to be notified upon coraP!etion of said project. Dept. a stone splash pad behind~ The CAC recommends disapproval because it would set a precadent since there is no house or building on the property~ In generai~ armoring the north shore of Long ~sland is not in the best interest of the town~ The Council suggests the Trustees study this issue for long term view. On a motion by Robert Keith~ seconded by Stephen Angel!, it was RESOVLED to reco~umend to the Southo!d Town Trustees approval of Wetland Application of To~ Helies 123.-8-28.3 to construct a timber dock~ Park Drive Ext.~ Mattituck Vote of Council~ Ayes~ Ail Motion carried. The application of Ronald Winkler 78-2-!1 to construct a single family dwelling was TABLED~ The Council was unable to inspect the property due to heavy growth. Applicant should stake the property and submi~ better p!ans~ 3135 Main Bayview Road~ Southold The revised application of Lawrence Huke for a house was TABLED for a reinspection~ Westphalia Road, Mattituck The CAC recore~ends approval of the Waiver Request of E.M. Davidson for a temporary shed~ There is no problem with the environmental aspects of the project~ however~ the Council questions the status of the Petition - does the project have the property owners approval? The CAC reco~u~ends approval of the Waiver Request of Joseph Do Zaiser to add a room as long as ail the usual conditions are followed~ i~e. hay bales, dr~a~e!ls~ etc~ Southo!d. _J '4.
