b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of propertymust be drawn on the diagram which is port of this application.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue o Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.

THE~PEC,~LF/XCEPT~ON IS i~EQUE:STED B~CAUSE of circumstances dictated
by the addition to the Southold Savings Bank which included
a drive-up window for customer convenience. A separate driveway
has been provided to handle traffic for this window with a new
exit onto Route 25.
Signs "A","B",&"C", are all needed to adequately direct
traffic flow around the bank, to educate the banking public
in the most efficient manner to utilize bank-by-car procedures,
and most vital of all, to keep traffic situations from developing
at this key intersection in the Village of Southold.
In a situation such as this, one ground sign ( as regulated
by the zoning ordinance) would not be sufficient to adequately
control and direct traffic and prevent possible dire consequences
to pedestrians and motorists in the vicinity.
As General Contractor, on behalf of the Southold Savings Bank,
we request a special exception for two additional ground signs
as shown on the attached plot plan and sign detail.
