That there shall be no interference with the right of the public to pass and repass along that portion of the beach between Iow and high water mark. 3. That the work shall be subject to the supervision and approval of the said Board of Trustees or its agents. 4. That if future operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or altera- tion in the location of the work herein authorized, or if, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees of the Town o.f Southold, such work shall cause unreasonable obstruction to free navigation, the said ..~t~;~.~.¢~..~^...~$I~. .............. will be required upon due notice from th~ said Board of Trustees, to remove or alter the location of the work hereby authorized without expense to the Town of Southold, so as to render navigation reasonably free and unobstructed. WILLIAm, 229 Grove Street, Montclair, N..Y.~ for a Department of the Army permit to construct a pier and install a mooring Pile in D~TTITUOK OBEEK, AT ~TTITUCK, TOV~N OF SOUTHOLD, SUFFOLK COT]hTY, I~ YORK. A copy of the plans of the proposed work is shown on the reverse of this sheet. The applicant proposes to coustruct a pier 4 feet wide and extending approximately 40 feet outshore of the mean high water line. It is also proposed to install a mooring pile approximately 65 feet outshore of the mean high water line. The top of mooring pile and the deck of the pier are to be 4 feet and i foot, respectively, above mean high water. The decision as to whether or not a permit will be issued must rest primarily upon the effect of the proposed work on navigation~ Any criti- cisms or protests regarding the proposed work, from the standpoint of pr~o~ to 30 January 1961, navigation, should be st~tted to tb~s office ' ~ othe~vise it will be pres~ed that there are no objections.
