Gentlemen:
I am enclosing survey of my daughter's summer cottage
on Peconic Bay near New Suffolk. You will note that this is
more than 75 feet from mean high water in any direction and
virtually all of the building stands on ground above the 10
foot contour.
She wishes to move the building off the premises and build
a year round home on the same location. This is acceptable
to the Building Department, but I would appreciate a letter of
clearance.
Finally, I expect to move the building about 100 feet
to the northeast. That is along the beach, and use it only
as a summer rental bungalow without any structural change.
This location will still be more than 75 feet from mean high
water in any direction, but will be below the 10 foot contour.
It will still be within the woodland fringe however.
In this case, since it is at less than 10 foot elevation
I would be glad to submit a permit application if you feel it
~s indicated.
Sincerely yours,
John Wickham
