Y. 11971 Dear Judy, Thanks to the recent hurricane I have had rather severe damage to my dike facing West Creek and have received an emer- gency permit from the State D.E.C. to. repair it. I anticipate starting immediately in hopes of getting it done before another storm and believe that since this is repair to an existing structure as well as being in an agricultural district that I am not required to file a petition with the Town. This is, therefore, simply a notice of intent to repair. Sincerely yours, John Wickham Route 25, Cutchogue, Long island, I~ew York 11935 Tel. (516) 734-5637 October 22, 1985 Southotd Town Trustees Southold, N. Y. 11971 Gentlemen: Thanks to the ravages of Hurricane Gloria I find it necessary to repair my dike facing Case's or West Creek. I have obtained an emergency permit from the New York D.E.C. and have notified the Town as regards the Town's Wetlands Ordinance which allows repair of existing structures. I bring this to your attention because the D.E.C. per- mit simply allows me to replace the material washed from the dike which I shall be very careful to do. This should in no way interfere with the bottom of the creek. Sincerely yours, John Wickham
