The size of the sign was dictated by the size of the unsightly broken stained- glass windows it covers. It was chosen by a professional designer as the best way of giving us sign area and improving the appearance of the building in a neat and suitable fashion, 2, We are a non-profit group organized for the benefit and enjoyment o£ anyone in the area wb.o desires to participate. Thus, we would use the sign only as: a. ~dentificatfon of the building. b. Notice of our program for the year as a service to the general pvblic. Jo ~fe are using no neon, glo-paint or other gaudy color devices° The sign is flai and muobtrusive. The letters used will be reserved and traditional (black, Roman style, see picture attached). ~. We have chosen letters of minimum size for the aforementioned purposes. The actual space used by the letters should not exceed standard limits, ~. The sign is to state only: NORTH FORK C0~P:f~D~TY THEATRE in 8 inch, black, raised letters~ plus the dates and names of future shows in 2 inch, black, raised letbers. 6, This sign will eliminate the need for any other sign.
