DITTMANN, SECRETARY After investigation and inspectiun the Board finds that the appellant, requests permissien to retain an on premises ground sign with insufficient setback and height from ground level. The Board finds that the appellant can not maintain a five foot distance from the side yard in view of the existing driveways of the appellant and adjoining neighbor. The Board finds that the sign in question is two feet six inches (2'6") by six feet (6'). The Board finds that the sign in question is an on premises identification sign and the only means the appellant has of identifing his business. The Board finds that the existing sign is not a traffic hazzard. The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use~of neighborhood property and adjoining) use districts will not be permanently or substa~ltially injured a~d,the ~spirit of the Ordiaance will be observed. Therefore, it ~was RESOLVED, that Richard E. MacNish, Main Road, Cutchogue, New York, ~be granted permission to retain an on' premises identification sign with insufficient-side yard clearance and insufficient height from ground level-on'property located on the north side Main Road, 'EASY Cutchogue, New York, subject to the following conditions: 1. The sign shall be granted for one year, renewable annually upon written application to the Board of Appeals. 2. The sign shall be subject to all subsequent changes the Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance as it applies to signs. in 3. The sign shall be located at least five feet from the front property line.
