The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit. d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work. e. No building shah be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy shall have been granted by the Building Inspector. Smith - Variance Dear Mr. Cron= The above mentioned variance was scheduled for a hearing on July 22, 1965. Although we had verbal knowledge that your appli- cation was being withdrawn, we had nothing in writing. At the thne of the hearing, there were people present to speak against this application. Their reason for attending the hearing was because they knew of no formal withdrawal of the application on the part of the applicant. Ther,fore, in the future if you intend to withdrawn an application after it has been published. please notify this office by means of letter or some other means ~be used for a permanent record. The Board of Al~eals proceeded to hold the hearing~on the application of Alvin H. Smith, and the application wes denied. You will receive the formal action of the Board in two weeks.
