I, STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practicaldifficultiesorunneces-
sary HARDSHIP because there is an ezisting dwelling on the red colored
portion of the lot as sho~ on Exhibit ~tA". The blue colored Portion
is v~cant and suitable as a building lot although practically useless
for any other purpose. P~J01ie water is available to both portions.
2. The hardshipcreatedis UNIQUEandisnotshared by all properties ali~ in the immediate
vicini~ ofthis property and in this use distrlctbeca:use with the exception of the two
end lots as shown on Exhibit "A" all other parcels ir_ the block
sir~larly situated were divided.,into two building lots at the time
the map was filed in 1927.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit ofthe O~inance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because if this parcel is divided into two
building lots the difference in size between them and other lots
in the block will be relatively insigniflcant~

Gentlemen:
I wish to go on record as opposing the request of Peter and Lucy

divide property with insufficient frontage and area on the
of Old Shipyard Lane, Southold, N. Y., since I believe this
will tend to decrease the value of my property.

Gentlemen:
I wish to protest the application o£ Peter and Lucy Bogovic
£or a variance with the Zoning Ordinance to divide property
with insn£iicient £rontage and area on the W/S o£ Old Shipyard
Lane into two lots.
This area was laid out in small lots and with the water and
sewage problems, this would tend to create an overcrowded
neighborhood, downgrade this residential section, and reduce
our open spaces.
Very truly yours,
