STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces- sa~ HARDSHIP because the only purpose for the erection of the sign is that for directional purposes. Its sole purpose is to guide the traveling public to the Boatmen's Harbor Marina. The proposed sign is to be located on the corner formed by the southerly side of,Main~Road and the easterly side of Pequash Avenue, Cutchogue, New York. Annexed hereto is a sketch of the proposed sign and its dimensions, as well as an approximate location plan of the site hereinabove indicated. 2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in this use district because 3. The cars come at quite a ~peed around[ the bend near Cutohogue ~iethodist Church and are o~uite often seen Too late due to ~aid sig~.
