' Sworn to before me ~n,s ....... ,~ ............... day of AGREEMENT, made at Mattituck, Suffolk County, New York, on ~Iarch 1966, by Conrad Bullock, Jr., residing at ~attituck aforesaid, herein called the "First Party," and Edward Hallahan, residing at Mattituck aforesaid, herein called the "Second Party WHEREIN IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the First Party hereby grants to the Second Party the privilege of erecting, maintaining and using a sign on the northeast corner of Cox Neck Road and Sound Avenue. The sign is to be an anchor style with the word "Inn." 2. ~hat the Second Party shall pay the First Party therefor for rent, the sum of twenty-five (~25.00) dollars on the execution of this agreement; and that the term shall begin on March , 1966 and shall, except as otherwise provided in article "4" hereof, end on March , 1967. 5. That the said sign shall be erected and maintained by the Second Party, at his own cost and expense, in strict conformity to law; and that said sign shall remain the sole property of the Second Party, and shall be removed by the Second Party, at his own cost and expense, at the end of the term hereunder, however occurring. 4. That if, prior to March 1967, ~he First Party shall covenant, i~ writing, to sell the said piece, or tract, of land, or shall elect to erect any building thereon, then, and in either of such events, the First Party shall have the option to terminate this agreement forthwith, by notifying the Second Party thereof, in writing, and, simultaneously, refunding to the Second tarty any rent theretofore paid by the Second Party that shall be applicable to any period of time following the date upon which such notice of cancellation shall become operative and effective.
