(Continue on other side)
REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sary HARDSHIP~ because i~ would mean shifting the tu3~naround to the
North or West to allow 55 feet between it and the corner of the
house. Due to the steep contour of the land at the edge of the
present turnaromud~ it would entail costly~ recQnstruction of the
roadway, The house was Put in its location to 'take advantage of
the contour at that point.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this prope_rty and in this use district beca:use th±s is the first ho%zse _i
this ,. deve~0Pmen
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DI.STRICT because the house is ample diStance from the
straight line of the road and is 33 feet from only a small segment
of the arc of the turnaro~mud.
