A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held
at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs
Avenue, Southold on Thursday, May 19, 2022 commencing at 4:00 P.M.
The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However,
this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received.
Present were:
Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Elizabeth Sakarellos, Office Assistant
Nicholas Planamento, Vice Chair Kim E. Fuentes, Board Assistant
Eric Dantes, Member John Burke, Deputy Town Attorney
Patricia Acampora, Member John Jarski, Senior Building Inspector
Sean Devlin, Electrical Inspector
4:00 P.M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Planamento and
Acampora. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0) (Member Lehnert Absent)

EXECUTIVE SESSION:
4:01 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to
enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes:

5:09 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to exit
Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes,
Planamento, and Acampora. (This Resolution was duly adopted 4-0).
WORK SESSION: Began at 5:09 PM
A. Requests from the Board Members for future agenda items.
B. The Board discussed DeMinimus Approval and Extension Requests.
C. The Board discussed in house training program approved by the Town Board, and
possible training session by the Regional Manager of the Suffolk County Soil and Water
Conservation District.
POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARING
KATHERINE HUBBARD #7607SE— (Adjourned from April 7, 2022) Applicant requests a
Special Exception under Article III, Section 280-13B(13). The Applicant is owner of subject
property requesting authorization to establish an Accessory Apartment in an existing accessory
structure; at: 2465 Elijahs Lane, Mattituck, NY. SCTM#1000-108-4-7.14. RESOLUTION: A
motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to ADJOURN
THE HEARING to June 2 2022 Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution
was duly adopted (4-0).
KIM W. TETRAULT AND KIM M. RANDALL #7625 —Request for a Variance from Article
XXII, Section 280-105D(4); and Building Inspector's January 10, 2022 Notice of Disapproval
based on an application for a permit to legalize an "as-built" deer fence at; 1) deer fencing is
prohibited in or along the front yard or primary front yard of any property; located at 4650 Horton
Lane, Southold, NY. SCTM No. 1000-54-3-21.2. RESOLUTION: A motion was offered by
Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to CLOSE THE HEARING. Vote of
the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted(4-0).

2, 2022, which will commence at 9:00 AM for Executive Session, and 10:00 AM for Regular
Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, and
Acampora. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0) (Member Lehnert Absent)
RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member
Planameno to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held April 7, 2022. Vote of the Board:

There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, the Chairperson
declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
