The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular
Meeting held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the Amendment to
Permit #505 to remove a 4' x 24' portion of the float area and install three additional
mooring piles, and as depicted on the plans prepared by David B. Wells, received on
June 26, 2007.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

That if future operations of the Tow,n of Southold require the removal and/or
alteration in the location of the work herein authorized, or fi, in the opinion
of the Board .of Trustees of the Town of South~old, such work .shall cause
reasonable 'obstruction to free navigation, the said Howard L. Wells
will be required upon due notice from the said Board of Trustees, ~o. remove
or alter the location .of the work here by authorized without expense to the
Town of Southold, s.o as t.o render na vigation reas. onabiy free and unobstruct-
ed.
The authority conferred by this permit may be terminated by the Board of Trustees
Howard L. Wells
for a failure on the part of the said .................................................................................... to
comply with the terms and conditions herein imposed. In the event of such termination,
this permit shall be deemed revoked five (5) days after the date when the Board of

Existing dock has been in existance forat least 20 years, but t:o
the best of my knowlege is not covered by any permit~ if a permit for
it is necessary please advise. Although it is 55 ft. long, it is six
feet from the water at low tide. A 24 ft. extension would give me
roughly 3 ft. of w~ter at low tide, and would still in no way interfere
with the channel.
