After an on site inspection, this project was determined not to be in the Trustees jurisdiction if clearing takes place 75 feet back from wetland line. Please note at the day of inspection your neighbor to the south was told the same thing and the 75' line was point out to him. All other approvals that may be applicable should be secured prior to the commencement of the project. Town Trustees during its regular meeting he~d on May 28, 1992 regarding the above matter: Wq{EREAS, John Geideman on behalf of Gerald Weir applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Tow~ of Southold, application dated April 9, 1992 and, e~ERFJIS said application was referred to the Southo!d Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recom~endations~ and~ WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on May 28, 1992 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are f~niliar with'the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, ~HEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and docum~entation submitted concerning this a ' ' ~ pplicatlo~, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT JOHN GEID~%IAN ON BEHALF OF GERALD ~EIR to construct a 4~ X 60~ dock with a 3' X !0~ ramp and a 8~ X 20~ float as per map dated March 26~ 1992. This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed.
