Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL To: From: Southold Town Trustees Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council Dated: January 24, 1989 Re: Wetland Application Recommendations The following recommendations were made by the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council at a meeting of the Council held Tuesday, January 24, 1989: RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustee approval with stipulations Wetland Application No. 11-88-104-13-5 of En-Consultants, Inc. for Kenneth and Christine Rathgeber to remove and replace (in same locations and configuration) 211± 1.f. of retaining wall which is to connect to existing walls to north and south. The figure includes sections around existing concrete block "bath house" which is being undermined. Approximately 1,490 c.y. of clean sand and loam to be trucked in from an upland source to be used for backfill and rehabilitation of exisEing eroded slope. Following grading, slope to be planted with such species as Rosa rugosa, bayberry, beachgrass, etc. to stabilize. The Council approves with the stipulation that applicant put in retaining wall in line with neighbors', install drywells to contain roof runoff, and suggest, if necessary, terrace the sloping ground. RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations of Wetland Application No. 11-88-104-8-1.1 of Connie Cross for Environmentals Nursery to install two 10'x 30' bermed areas, with natural rock outcroppings and appropriate plantings at entrance to Nassau Point.
