After investigation and inspection the Board finds that
the applicant requests permission to construct a private
detached garage in the front yard area. The Board finds
there are many other garages in the front yard area in this
same neighborhood. In general, the Board is in agreement
with the reasoning of the application.
The Board finds that striction application of the Ordinance
will produce practical, difficulties,, o~ pqnpc~ssary hardship;
the ~ardship created is ~nique and would no~ be shared by all
properties al/ke, in the immediate vicinity of this property
and in the s ~a}ne use distriqt; ~nd the variance does observe
the spirit.of the Ordinance and will not change the character
Qf the ~is~rict.
Therefore, it was RESOLVED that Georg~ Aht~rs, Cutchogu~,
New York, a/c Edward Miller, 19 Marshall Avenue, Floral Park,
New York, be granted permission to erect a private detached
garage in the front yard area on lot number 14, in Beixedon
Estates, Southold, New York, as applied for. This permission
is subject to the following conditions:
1. The garage shall be located at least thirty-five feet
from the front property line. (road line)
2. The garage shall be located at least ten feet from
the side line.

INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted in duplicate to the Building
Inspector.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of propertymust be drawn on the diagram which is part of this application.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part 'For any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
