By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) p~odu~e practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship because SEE ~EVERSE (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all pr~perties alike in the immediate vicinity of this praperty and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (doas not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) (~vould not) cha~ge the character of the district because SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested ~;aria~ce ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Iuspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. Ditt_mann, Secretary After investigation and inspection the Board finds that the appellant requests permission to retain two road signs 1) south side County Highway 27, Mattituck, New York, and 2) on the storage tank at Mattituck Breakwater, Mattituck, New York. The Board agrees with the application and the reasoning of the applicant that is is necessary to inform the travelling public. The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining us~ districts will not be permanently or 'substantially injured'and'lt~e ~pirit of the Ordinance will be obserVed.
