After investigation and inspection the Board finds that
the applicant requests permission to use existing labor camp
buildings to house farm help. The Board finds that this camp
has been used at least sixteen years by the former owner and
others. It has been used to ho~se farm help both seasonal
and during the entire year. The Board finds there is no
police record for this camp.
The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare
and justice will be served a~d th~ legally, established or
permitt~ use of neighborhood prb~er~ ~n~ ~dj~ining use
districts will not be permanently or shbstanti~!ly in3ure~
'ahd the spirit' of the Ord'inance will be observed,
'Therefore, it'was RESOLVED that H.M.'Demarest & Sons%
Main Road, Orient, New York, be' g~anted permission td use
existing labor camp bhildings to house farm help bn
property located on the north side Narrow River Road, Orient,
New York, as applied for. This permission is granted for a
period of one (1) year.

this property and wish to use the existing labor camp buildings ~o
house our ~arm kelp.
There will be about six (6) men housed in these facilities
which are being updated to meet the health De~t requirements for such
camps.
The premises are located on South Side o£ main Road~ Orient
in back of the farm buildings in rear off the "Oyster Ponds Im~" and
have for many years been used by other farmers for this purpose.
