Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Telephone (516) 765-1892 Fax (516) 765-1823 BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD October 24, 1996 En-Consuttants, Inc. 1329 North Sea Road Southampton, NY 11968 Re: Edward Thorp SCTM ~31-7-10 Dear Mr. Haje: The following action was taken by the Board. of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on October 23, 1996 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, En-Consultants on behalf of EDWARD THORP applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated August 19, 1996, and, WHEREAS', said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findSngs a~d recommendations, and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on October 23, 19'96, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members have personally vieWed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area., and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation s~lbmittedconcerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare: of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to construct a 2-story, 1-family dwelling, swimming pool with drywells for wash back, decks, pervious, driveway, underground utilities, sanitary system, will, as per revised survey dated 4/17/96, subject to hay bales durin~ construct with silt fence at the 75' line or the 1.5' contour line, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a dete~nation made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within, six months of the date of this notification. New York 11971 SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL The following recommendation was adopted at the meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council on September 23, 1996 : 1381 Moved by Bruce Loucka, seconded by Allan Connell, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL WITH CONDITIONS of the Wetland Permit Application of EDWARD TttORP 31-7-10 to construct a two-story, one family dwelling, swimming pool, decks, pervious driveway, underground utilities, sanitary system, and well.
