Southold Town Trustees, as lead agency for the action described
below has determined that the project will not have a significant
effect to the environment.
TYPE OF ACTION: Unlisted
DESCRIPTION OF AU'£'±UN: To remove existing bulkhead and rebuild in
the same location and dimensions (102 lin. ft.).
LOCATION OF PROJECT: North Side ~f Pipes Cove at the foot of 9th
Street, Greenport; more particularly known as 1000-049-1.22 on
the Suffolk County Tax blap.
REASONS SUPPORTING THIS DETE~4INATION:
1. An environmental assessment form in the short form has been
submitted which indicated that there would be nc, adverse effect
to the enviro~nent should the project be implemented as planned.
2. Because there has been no response in the allotted time from the
Southold Town Building Dept. and the N.¥.S.D.E.C.it is assumed
that there are no objections nor comments from those agencies.
3. The Conservation Advisory Council has recoaunended approval of this
project.
4. The project as proposed will not adversely affect the health, safety
and general welfare of the people of the town.
