Dear Sir or Madam.
During the course of the construction the homeowner decided they did not want to install
the two columns that the approved plans show There is an existing 3,'/2 x 9 1/4 Anthony
Power Beam header that is not conforming to Code requirements and instead of removing
the existing header is to remain and a double 3 '/2 x 9 1/4 Anthony Power beam was
installed under the existing header This creates a composite beam 18 1/2 inches deep
and the calculations show it will support the anticipated loads. The two beams are
connected together with steel strapping sixteen (16) inches on center
As part of the this project all exterior walls,ceilings and floors were insulated as pre Coe
requirements.
