The inspection included the septic tank and leaching rings(cesspools). I visually observed all elements of the system. The inspection results are: 1 —Overall—System elements including septic tank and two leaching rims were located exactly as noted on original survey dated March 4. 1976. Additional leaching ring for increased capacity was located (north and west of existing) and confirmed installed prior to 2007. 2—Operation—System was functioning as designed and the leaching rings were clear with more than adequate flow. System was performing as required and it has additional capacity available. All construction was done in compliance with the applicable sections NYS and Southold Town Building Codes at the time of installation. 3 —Size— Septic Tank was reported to be in the 900 to 1000 gallon capacity range. Leaching pools have a total capacity of 5694 gallons (3ringseat 189`8 each). The inspection covered the framing for the alterations to the existing residential structure. The areas inspected included the basement, first and second floors of the existing house. The framing work included the interior walls, headers, and ceilings. The inspection results are: Items inspected included lumber type/grade, lumber size, dimensional spacing, framing connections,header sizes,bearing, continuity strapping and integration with the existing structure. The framing work was done according to approved plans and in compliance with the applicable sections of the current NYS and Southold Town Building Codes.
