Location of property: south side Old Main Road, Southold, New York, bounded north by Old Main:Road, east by Helen Reiter, south by Town Harbor, west by Lieblein Bros. 2. VARIANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) ~reduce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship because SEE REVERSE (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this preperty and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) (~vould not) change the character of ~he district because SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. Dittmann, Secre~ry After investigation and'inspection the Board finds that Edward Schild, owner of Arrow Fishing Station, Old Main Road, Southold, New York, has applied for a special exception for permission to retain a ridge sign. Due to the location of the l~roperty, the applicant notes that without this sign his business would be out of sight when coming from the east. The Board agrees with the reasoning of the applicant and Mr. Aurichio. Therefore, it was RESOLVEB that Edward Schild, owner of Arrow Fishing Station, Old Main Road, Southold, New York, be granted D special exception in accordance ~it~ the ~6ning Ordinance to retain a ridge sign. P~r~i~sloh t~ ~etain said sign is' renewable' each year' by letter to theBoard, and Subject to any further rules and regulations promulgated by the Town Board.
