(E.S.T.), Upon application of Frohnhoefer Electric Co., Inc., Main Road~' Southold, New York, for a special exception in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article IV, Section 408, Sub- section (a), for permission to retain more than 6ne ground sign with insufficient setback. Location of property: south side Main Street, Southold, New York, bounded north by Main Road, east by Socony-Vacuum- Purcell, south by Charles Turner, west by D.A. ~otham. 2. VAPJANCE. Dittmann, Secretary After investigation and inspection the Board finds that the applicant requests permission to retain more than one ground sign with insufficient setback on property located on t he south side of Mah Street, Southold, New York, The Board is in favor of granting these signs as applied for and agrees with the reasoning of the applicant and notes that the applicant has furnished off- street parking in the rear of the building and needs the sign which is attached to the light stanchion t? indicate where this parking area is as well as~the small sigh ln'f~6n~ of the building in the front y~rd area in 6rder to identify the business ahd ~" also aue to the fadt thatthe ~aid setback Of this buil~in~ is cOnsiderably in excess of the adjoining building to the WeSt. ~ The Board finds'that the public convenience'and welfare and justice will be s~rged and the'Iegally established or p~r- mitred use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed. Therefore, it was RESOLVED that Frohnhoefer Electrict Co., Inc., Main Road, Southold, New York, be granted permission to retain more than one ground sign with insufficinet setback on property located on the south side Main Street, Southold, New York, as applied for. Permission granted subject to the following conditions: 1. The signs are granted for one year only, renewable annually upon written application to the Board of Appeals. 2. The signs are granted subject to all subsequent changes in the Southold Town Zoning Ordinance as it applies to signs.
