Barbara C. Dittma~n, Secretary
After investigation and inspection the Board finds that
the applicant requests p~rmission to retain a directional sign
on the property of Mitchell Pekunka. Said ownerof property
has given permission for the location of said sign on his
property. The sign in question gives directiuns to a Motel
and the Board points out that such a sign is in the interest
of the travelling public.
The Board finds that the p%%blic convenience and welfare
and justice will be served and the legally established or
permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining use
districts will not be permanently or substantially injured
and the Spirit of the Ordinance will'be 6bserved.
Therefore, it was R~OLVED that'Jack Levin, Sound View
Avenue, Southold, New York, be granted permission t36 retain
a directional signon the property of Mitchell Pekunka as
applied for, subject to the following conditions:-'
1. The sign shall be granted for one year only, renewable
annually upon written applidation to the Board of Appeals.
2. The sign shall be subject to all subsequent changes in
the Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance as it applies to signs.
