Locatio~ of property: east sid~ Main Road, Arshamomaque, New York ,lot number 186 in amended Map A, of Peconic Bay Estates. 2. VAP~IANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Stric~ a~plication of the Ordinance (would) (would not) ~reduce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship because SEE REVERSE (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) (~vould not) change the character of ~he district because SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Insp ~e~or ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. , FORM ZB4 Barbara C. Dittma~n, Secretary After investigation and inspection the Board finds that the applicant requests p~rmission to retain a directional sign on the property of Mitchell Pekunka. Said ownerof property has given permission for the location of said sign on his property. The sign in question gives directiuns to a Motel and the Board points out that such a sign is in the interest of the travelling public. The Board finds that the p%%blic convenience and welfare and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not be permanently or substantially injured and the Spirit of the Ordinance will'be 6bserved. Therefore, it was R~OLVED that'Jack Levin, Sound View Avenue, Southold, New York, be granted permission t36 retain a directional signon the property of Mitchell Pekunka as applied for, subject to the following conditions:-' 1. The sign shall be granted for one year only, renewable annually upon written applidation to the Board of Appeals. 2. The sign shall be subject to all subsequent changes in the Southold Town Building Zone Ordinance as it applies to signs.
