FORM ZB4
After investigation and inspection the Board finds that the
appellant requests permission,to retain a side wall sign. The Board
grants the permission as applied for and agrees with the reasoning
of the application. This is a means of identifying a public
auction which is used by most of the farmers in the area. It is
a necessary sign.
The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and
justice will be served and the legally established orpermitted
use~of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not
be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the
Ordinance will be observed.
Therefore, it was RESOLVED.that Long I~iand,CauliflOwer ASsoc,,
Marcy,Avenue, Riverhead~ New York, be granted permiSSion ~to retain
a side mall sign on a building located on the nortl~ side ~of ,
Middle Road, Southold, New Yonk, as applied for. This permission
is granted subject to the following conditions: ~
1. The sign is granted subject to all subsequent changes in
the Southold Town Zoning Ordin~nde'as it applies to signs.
2. The sign shall be granted for one year only, renewable
annually upon written application to the Board of Appeals.
