STAPLES MONUMENT WORKS HALSEY A, STAPLES, Proprietor Monuments ~ Markers ~ GREENPORT LONG ISLAND NEW YORK August 17, 1990 Board of Tov~n Trustees Southold Town Hall P.O. Box 1179 Southold, N.Y. !1971 Corner Posts TOWN OF SOUTHOLD Dear Sirs, Herein i would like to submit my request for a waiver for a Southold Town Wetlands Permit. Enclosed please find photocopies of an area map and a survey map showing a building 'lot off Middle- ton Road in Greenport. The project i propose for that site would be a single family residence. The impact on the area would be minimal as the cellar excavation has existed since the late forties. Thats when the Fleet brothers of Fleet Lumber created post War housing on Middieton Road (Fleet Field). I would simply like to place a house foundation in that existing excavation 75' from the sump that serves Washington Avenue and Middieton Road. Ail of the other elevations presently surrounding the excavation would remain the same. If you have any questions about this proposed project, I would make myself available for your monthly meeting or i am available weekmays~ by calling 477-o573. Sincerely, Halsey A. Staples ----1
