Re:
305 North Sea Drive, etc.
Southold
Gentlemen:
On behalf of myself and my neighbors, Charles Malloy
and Elliott Paskoff, this is to advise you that the storms
within the past ten days have caused such extreme damage to
our dune as to result in an emergency situation. It is
evident that unless corrective measures are taken
immediately, our homes will be placed in further jeopardy.
We intend to install a stone revetment which will be
placed approximately 15 feet towards the Sound, and will be
constructed with 3 ton toestones and 1.5 to 2 ton capstones.
As time is of the essence and our contractor will be unable
to begin construction until mid-April at the earliest, it
will be necessary for us to implement interim, protective
measures in light of the possibility of severe storms during
the latter part of March or early April. I will file a
permit application as soon as is feasible.
Should you have any questions, please telephone me at
212-703-6637.
Very truly yours,
Monroe R. $onnenborn
