Please be advised that a Wetland Permit will be required for any work done within 75' of the water or from the edge of the wetlands, in addition to any other governmental agencies who may also have jurisdiction. Attached for you convenience is a wetland applicat2on as well as additional ones for your neighbors as referenced in your letter. TIDAL WETLANDS: (1) All lands generally covered or i,ntermittently cov- ered with, or which border on, tidal wa~ers, or lands lying beneath tidal wa~ers, which a~ mean low fide are covered by tidal waters to a maximum depth of five (5) feet. including but not limited to banks. bogs, salt marsh, swamps, meadows, fla~s or other low lying lands subject to tidal action; 42) All banks, bogs, meadows, fiats and tidal marsh subject to such tides and upon which grows or may grow some or any of the following: salt hay, black grass, saltworts, sea lavender, tall cordgrass, high bush, cattails, g~;oundsel, marshmallow and low march cordgrass: and/or (3) All land immediately adjacent ~o a tidal wetland as defined in Subsection A(2) and lying within seven- W-five (75) feet landward of ~he most landward edge of such a tidal wetland. It is evident that unless corrective measures are taken immediately, our homes will be placed in further jeopardy. We intend to install a stone revetment which will be placed approximately 15 feet towards the Sound, and will be constructed with 3 ton toestones and 1.5 to 2 ton capstones. As time is of the essence and our contractor will be unable to begin construction until mid-April at the earliest, it will be necessary for us to implement interim, protective measures in light of the possibility of severe storms during the latter part of March or early April.
