Annual Election of the qualified voters of Mattituck Fire District, in the Town of
Southold, County of Suffolk,NY, held at the firehouse, 1000 Pike Street, Mattituck,NY

On December 13, 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Mattituck Fire District will take place on
December 13, 2022 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Mattituck Fire House located at
1000 Pike Street, Mattituck, NY 11952, for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five (5)year
term, commencing January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2027. All voters registered with the Suffolk
County Board of Elections and residents of the Mattituck Fire District on or Before November 21, 2022
shall be eligible to vote.

TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY,JUNE 7,2022
IN THE
MATTITUCK FIRE DISTRICT,IN THE
TOWN OF SOUTHOLD SUFFOLK COUNTY NEW YORK
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Election of the qualified voters of
the Mattituck Fire District(hereinafter called the"Fire District"), in the Town of Southold,
Suffolk County,New York, will be held at the existing firehouse located at 1000 Pike Street,
Mattituck, New York, in the Fire District, on Tuesday,June 7,2022. The polls shall open at
3:00 o'clock P.M. (Prevailing Time) and shall remain open until 9:00 o'clock P.M. (Prevailing
Time) or as much longer as may be necessary to enable the voters then present to cast their votes.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to the resolution adopted
by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fire District on April 20, 2022,the following
Proposition will be submitted to the qualified voters of the Fire District for approval or
disapproval:
PROPOSITION
Shall the bond resolution of the Mattituck Fire District, Suffolk County,New York,
entitled: `BOND RESOLUTION OF THE MATTITUCK FIRE DISTRICT ("FIRE
DISTRICT"), IN THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD ("TOWN"), SUFFOLK COUNTY,NEW
YORK, ADOPTED APRIL 20, 2022, AUTHORIZING NEW CONSTRUCTION OF AN
ADDITION TO THE EXISTING FIREHOUSE LOCATED AT 1000 PIKE STREET,
MATTITUCK,NEW YORK, INCLUDING ANY ANCILLARY OR RELATED SITE,
DEMOLITION AND OTHER WORK REQUIRED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
(THE "PROJECT"); STATING THE ESTIMATED TOTAL COST THEREOF IS
$11,000,000, INCLUDING PRELIMINARY COSTS AND COSTS INCIDENTAL
THERETO AND TO THE FINANCING THEREOF; APPROPRIATING SAID
AMOUNT THEREFOR; AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF NOT TO EXCEED $11,000,000 TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION
AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES TO PAY THE
PRINCIPAL OF SAID BONDS AND THE INTEREST THEREON AS THE SAME
BECOME DUE AND PAYABLE,"be approved?
All residents of the Fire District who were duly registered to vote with the Suffolk
County Board of Elections on or before May 16, 2022, shall be eligible to vote at said Special
Election.
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that absentee ballots shall be made
available in accordance with the provisions of Section 175-b of the Town Law and that
applications for such absentee ballots may be applied for at the office of the District Secretary.
The absentee ballot application must be received by the District Secretary at least seven(7) days
before the date of the aforesaid Special Election, if the absentee ballot is to be mailed to the
voter, or the day before such Special Election, if the absentee ballot is to be delivered personally
to the voter or his or her agent. A list of all persons to whom absentee voters' ballots shall have
been issued will be available in the said office of the District Secretary between the hours of 7:00
A.M. and 3:00 P.M. (Prevailing Time) Monday through Friday up to and including the day set
for the Special Election, and such list will also be posted at the polling place at the Special
Election.

That, with reference to the Special Election ("Special Election") to be held in the
Mattituck Fire District ("Fire District") on June 7, 2022, I have received a copy of the Notice of
Special Election("Notice")for posting on(i)the Town Website,(ii)the bulletin board in my office
as Town Clerk and (iii) the sign board maintained by my office pursuant to the provisions of
subdivision six (6) of Section thirty (30) of the Town Law; and
That I have been apprised of the provisions of Section 175-c of the Town Law and
I shall co-operate with the Fire District in order to ensure timet 10,iaication of the Special
Election.
