To Whom it may concern,
This Letter is to advise you that National Grid investigated your request and confirmed that the
subject property does not have an active gas service line.
New York State law requires anyone planning underground excavation work to notify local
utilities by making one call to a toll-free number to get your underground lines identified
for you prior to doing any digging. This phone call needs to be made at least 2, days but
not more than 10 days prior to starting work, not including the date.of the call. The
number to call is either the nationally sponsored"811", or the local number for NYC/LI
area, 1-800-272-4480. This confirmation letter of no active gas service line to the subject
property does not relieve the excavator of making this "811"call.

Dear Ms. Tannenbaum:
Based on the information you submitted the Department of Environmental Conservation has
determined that the above property landward of the functional, asphalt road (Narrow River Rd.)
greater than 100 feet in length, (as shown on the survey prepared by Kenneth M. Woychuk
dated Jan. 18, 2020), which was constructed prior to August 20, 1977 as seen on the Tidal
Wetland Map#726-556, is beyond the jurisdiction of the Article 25 Tidal Wetlands Act. In
addition, the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has determined that the
referenced parcel is more than 100 feet from NYSDEC regulated freshwater wetlands
(FWW#O-10). Our freshwater field biologist has determined the"wetland boundary as
delineated by En-Consultants 11-7-19" on the southwestern area of the referenced survey is not
part of the state-mapped wetland. Therefore, no permit is required pursuant to the Tidal
Wetlands Act (Article 25) and the Freshwater Wetlands Act (Article 24) and their implementing
regulations (6NYCRR Part 661 and Part 663), respectively.
Be advised, no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of any kind may take place seaward of the
tidal wetlands jurisdictional boundary, as indicated above, without a permit. It is your responsibility to
ensure that all precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or disturbance within Article 25
jurisdiction which may result from your project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate
work area between the jurisdictional boundary and your project (i.e. a 15'wide construction area) or
erecting a temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
This letter shall remain valid unless site conditions change.
Please note that this letter does not relieve you of the responsibility of obtaining any necessary permits
or approvals from other agencies or local municipalities.
