(E.S.T.), Upon application of Dominic Aurichio, Esq., 308 Mah Street, Greenport, New York, a/c New York Telephone Company, for a special exception in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 300, Subsection 5 (g), for [~ermission to use property for public untility facilities. Location of pro- perty: north side Mai~ R'oad, Southold, New York, bounded north by R. Lang, Jr., east by R. Lang, Jr., south by Main Road, west by R. Lang, Jr. 2. VARIANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (xvould) (would not) produce practical hardship because SEE REVERSE difficulties or unnecessary (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and change the character of the district because SEE REVERSE (would) (would not) and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that' the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. Dittmann, Secretary After invest~tion and inspection the Board finds that the ~ applicant requests permission ~o erect t%lephbne POles ~ith mQunted carrier cabinets and associated telephone facilities' on the poles for use as a publi~ utility,, on property located on the north side M~n Road, Southold, New York. The Board finds that the telephone company is purchasing 100 feet by 200 feet for th~ purpose of locating said poles. The reason for purchasing such a large parcel of land is so that'~t may readily be disposed of in the future if the telephone company no longer has use for it.
