After investigation and inspectio~6he Board finds that the

and indoor rifle and pistol range in connection with an existing
outdoor shooting range. The Board grants this application as applied
for, subject to the condition that the structure will be erected in
accordance with the Nation Rifle Association specifications as out-
lined in the application. The structure shall be located 35 feet
from the closest point of the northerly property line and at least
50 feet from the property line of Cox Lane. The Board finds there
has been no difficulty in the opera~%gn~o~ ~e~out¢oor range in the
last six or seven%years~sin~e__this-.was e~tablished at this particular
location. This club will be open on%y to the m~mbers and guest of
the Mattituck Gun club'and such use under the rules and regulations

used by the Southold Town Police, State Troopers, other gun clubs,
and at the invitation of the Mattitu~k Gun Club, and members of the
families of the members of the Mattituck Gun Club. Permission to
operate this indoor range shall coincide with permission, if any, to
be granted by the National Rifle Association, so that the two will
occur at the same time.
The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and
justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use
of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not be per-
manetly or substantially injured and the spirit ~f the Ordinance will
