After investigation and inspection the Board finds that
the applicant requests permission to erect a second on premises
ground sign. This sign would be used to show there is a coctail
l~nge in the rear of the building which at sometimes is used
separately from the restaurant. The Board finds that the applicant
already displays a s-_ign star,in9 restaurant and coctail ]uhnge in
the front of the building. It is the opinion of the Board there
is ample identi~&cation for the cocktail luunge and a separate sign
is not needed for this purpose. The Board further points out that
the applicant has several other signs on his property~ including signs
for the motel, restaurant, amusement area and soft ice cream.
The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare a~
justice will not be served and the legally established or permitted
use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will be
permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the ~rdinar~e
will not be observed.
Therefore, it was RESOLVED Nicholas Drossos, Main Road, Greenport~
