After investigation_ and'inspection the Board finds %hat the
applicant requests permission to construct and-maintain a~f~ont
wall sign, four feet by eight feet. The Board finds there is no
room at this premises to erect a ground sign in the front yard
area as permitted uner the Zoning Ordinance. By the granting of
this permission for the erection of a sign on the front of the
building the applicant foregoes the right to a ground sign in the
front yard area. The Board is in agreement with the reasoningof
the applicant.

The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and justiee
will be served and the legally established or permitted use of neighbor-
hood property and adjoining use districts will not be permanently or
substantially injured and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed.

Marine, Inc., 56275 Main Street~ Southold~ New York~ be granted permis~on
to erect and maintain a front wall sign~ four feet~ by eight feet as
applied for on property located on the south side Main Ro~d~ Southold,
New York~ subject to the following conditions:
1. The sign shall be subject to all subsequent changes in the
Southold To~ Building Zone Ordinance as it applies tosigns.
2. The sign shall be granted for a period of one year~ renewable
annually upon written application to the Board of Appeals.
