By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) S~rict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) produce practical hardshi~ because (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district beoanse (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) change the character of the dist~cict because (would not) and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be rever~ed. FORM ZB4 APPROVED After investigation and inspection the Board finds that the appliemnt requests permission to create a 6th apartment in a non-conforming multiple residence building. The Board finds there is a need for this type of housing on Fishers Island`, 'and in general the Board is in agreement with the reasoning of the applicant. The Board finds that strict application of the (~dinance will produce practlcal difficulties or unnecessary hardship; the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the ssuae use district; and the variance will observe the spirit of the Ordinance and will not change the charac*er of the district.
