FORM ZB4 Bett~ Negille, Secretary After investigation and inspection the Board finds that the applicant requests permission to erect ground sign on brick wall with insufficient height above ground level, /n accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article IV, Section 408a, and Article IVB, Section 441. This application was discussed at an informal meeting of the Planning Board and the Boated of Appeals on December 9, 1968. Both Boards mutually agreed that this would be the best way to keep in conjunction with the design of the building and the landscaping plan. The Board also reviewed the plans and drawings submitted by the applicant with the application. The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance will produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship; the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same a use district; and the variance does observe the spirit of the Ordinance and will not change the character of the district. .~herefore, ,it was RESOLVED that Eastern Suffolk Nursing Home' NOrth Road, Greenport, New York, be GP~N, TED permiss%on to erect ground sign on brick wall with insufficient height abeve ground level as applied for on property, located on the south side North Road,.
