PHILIP & LIA CHASEN 1585 LONG CREEK DRIVE, SOUTHOLD SCTM# 1000-55-7-3 Dear Ms. Magee: The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022: WHEREAS, on May 3, 2022 an application for an Administrative Amendment was submitted requesting to increase the square footage of the proposed pool patio; and WHEREAS, on May 6, 2022 a Member of the Board of Trustees inspected said property for the proposed modification; and WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area; and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all of the documentation submitted concerning this application; and, WHEREAS, the Board has previously granted approval for the pool patio structure by Wetland permit# 10095 measuring 1850 sq. ft.; and 2 WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees determined that there is no need to extend patio any further seaward than existing; and there is no justification for altering the prior actions of the Board; and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees DENY the Administrative Amendment to Wetland Permit#10095 to increase the square footage of the proposed pool patio to 2245sq. ft., in lieu of the previously approved pool patio (1,850sq.ft.). Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency.
